Our Lady Home Pilgrimage
Starting in May 2025, we would like to offer all parishioners the wonderful opportunity to host a statue of Our Lady in their homes during this Jubilee year. Pilgrimage has long been part of the Jubilee experience and the 2025 Holy Year has motto ‘Pilgrims of Hope’. However, not everyone can undertake a pilgrimage, perhaps due to family or work commitments or ill health or financial constraints. Therefore in our Parish the statue of Our Lady will be making the pilgrimage for us and all parishioners will be able to join in if they so wish.

What is involved in the Our Lady Home Pilgrimage?
You might create a special place for the statue in your home
Place a candle or flowers or something special to you near the statue to create a small ‘shrine’
Pray with Our Lady each day if you can

The statue of Our Lady in a protective bag
A guide to prayer to keep with suggested prayers during her visit
A selection of other prayer cards and rosaries which you can select from and keep if you so wish

When it is your turn we will arrange for someone to deliver the statue to you OR
You can pick up the statue from Church after one of the weekend masses
To return the statue on an agreed date, we can either pick it up or you can return it to the Lady altar at Church after the weekend masses
