The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is available to anyone who is
unwell, facing
surgery, or infirm because of old age. It is not reserved for those near death,
but may be celebrated at any time. The
Sacrament draws upon God’s power to heal and comfort and supports the person’s
faith in the midst of suffering.
At
St Gregory’s, Eucharistic Ministers are also available to bring Holy Communion
to the sick and housebound who are unable to attend Mass.
